Cross-country skiing in Liptov

If you want to take a break from the slopes while skiing, or if you’re not a fan of downhill skiing at all, try cross-country skiing. In the season of plenty of natural snow in Liptov, you will find several cross-country skiing trails, where you will have the opportunity to combine active movement with beautiful views of nature. We have tried three for you: The nearest one is only 2km from Troch Vody in Pavčina Lehota. If you would like a higher altitude, we recommend the track in Jasná, specifically in the locality of Zadné Vody near the snowmaking lakes. Dotretice, beautiful views of Kriváň and the Western Tatras await you on the track about 2km above the village of Liptovská Kokava.
