To Chopok and Ďumbier

For people loving demanding alpine hikes we have a “must have” – autumn ascent to Chopok and Ďumbier. Our guests Gabina and Daniel made a trip to the two highest peaks of the Low Tatras and we thank them for the map and for the photos and video!

We started from Demänovská dolina to Dereše 2004m, Chopok 2024m and Ďumbier 2043m⛰️. The route goes through the edge of Low Tatras, so it is a little bit easier☺️ It has 23km, you climb 1750m and it took us inluding breaks 6h40min☺️ I attach a link to the route: https://mapy.cz/s/cosogafujo

Note (Tri Vody): who would find the 1750m climb more challenging than Gabi and Dan, can take a lift up to Chopok, which will seriously reduce the climb as well as the overall distance. Anyway, we recommend the route in both variants to everyone who wants to experience beautiful views of the Low, High and Western Tatras.
