Waterfall Lúčky

Have you seen the waterfall in the middle of the village? If not, don’t miss such an attraction in the village of Lúčky. The waterfall can be easily reached by car, but the more fit can also go to it by bicycle. Most of the route goes along the larger – less frequented roads, and there are several places to refresh yourself around the route. The bike route is 26 km long in one direction, but if you would prefer not to go back the same way, you can continue along the cycle route on the north side of Liptovská Mara. Such a circular route with a total length of 73 km is really only for experienced cyclists.

The waterfall is 12 metres high and falls into a small lake. It is at its most powerful after heavy rains or, of course, in spring, when the snow melts. While you are in Lúčky, visit the natural swimming lake in neighbouring Kalameny, which you can find out more about here.
